A success story entitled: Continuity of the electronic assessment process for preparatory year students at King Abdul-Aziz University while ensuring parity

The remote evaluation process for students of the preparatory year continued in a manner that ensures that quality is achieved in terms of equivalence and objectivity Whereas, the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education, together with the faculties concerned in the preparatory year subjects, created special courses for assessment through the e-learning management system (Blackboard) In it, all students were added to the divisions according to the subjects, and large question banks were established in each course, where all students were tested in all divisions from the same bank, making sure that equal forms appeared. The total number of students benefiting is about (9379) students.

A success story entitled: Remotely exams, activating electronic monitoring through the camera, and taking into account the special cases of students

The College of Dentistry, in cooperation with the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education, was keen to implement electronic exams for theoretical subjects as scheduled, while making sure that the remote evaluation was directly monitored for students. Where a virtual control committee was provided to follow up on the students by opening the cameras in virtual sessions that start working an hour before the exam and during the exam performance until its delivery taking into account the special cases of students who are unable to open the camera. Where the process of e-learning and evaluation of the college's students, who numbered (1024) students, has been completed

A success story entitled: Continuity of the summer training program in the Deanship of e-learning and distance education in the style of distance education - during the Corona pandemic

The Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education has prepared an integrated plan to implement the training program in the distance education style, with the same quality and efficiency as the previous programs. Emphasis was placed on artificial intelligence and data science, which contribute to the development of students' skills and prepare them for the labor market. In addition to providing them with twenty-first century skills related to e-training and self-development. Specialized skills were presented in programming websites, digital assistants, data modeling and visualization on the web, as well as a set of practical skills and self-development skills.

The Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education continued to offer a summer training program in the style of distance education to present the two topics of artificial intelligence and data science, as they are among the new topics in information technology. Which contributes to developing the skills of female students and preparing them for the labor market. Various specialized skills were also provided. The students were divided into 10 working groups, and each group implemented the design of an educational platform that includes the most important applications and ideas according to the group’s field of artificial intelligence. In addition to applying the neural network algorithm to a knowledge base and visualizing the results through the dashboard

A success story entitled: Enrichment Activity “Artificial Intelligence Fields: Applications and Ideas”

The Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education, in cooperation with the Artificial Intelligence Awareness Committee at King Abdul-Aziz University, held the enrichment activity “Areas of Artificial Intelligence: Applications and Ideas” Over two consecutive days, with the aim of educating society groups about the latest developments in artificial intelligence and its applications in several areas, During the activity, educational platforms were launched on Wix, especially in each field which includes applications and ideas that can be implemented in the future, in addition to building prediction models using machine learning and neural networks using Python and R languages for cognitive data by domain.
