E-learning Unit

Unit’s tasks:

  • Suggest mechanisms and procedures for e-learning application at the colleges.
  • Increase knowledge and spread awareness on e-learning at the level of the University and in all academic departments of the colleges.
  • Increase knowledge and spread awareness on mobile learning at the level of the University and in all academic departments of the colleges.
  • Support the application of technology and e-learning modes, e-courses and e-books at the colleges.
  • Coordination with e-learning units at the colleges with regard to implementing e-learning.
  • Monitor the implementation of approved standards and specifications upon construction of e-courses.
  • Support the colleges in the implementation of approved standards and specifications in the development process of e-courses.
  • Study e-learning related suggestions in the strategic plan of the University.
  • Choose the appropriate types of teaching techniques and strategically deliver the course through them in a manner that fits with e-learning.
  • Implementation of developments in the field of educational technology related to e-learning.
  • Effectively integrate education technology in the e-learning environment.
  • Carry out any instructions issued by the Department Head related to the unit's activities.
