Student Support and Calling Center

Unit’s tasks:

  • Prepare, implement and support the plan to guide students at the beginning of each semester on how to use the electronic materials and other relevant sources.
  • Receive students' reports concerning any complaint or inquiry and answering them.
  • Help students overcome their difficulties.
  • Provide a plan for support and assistance programs for the students and support the plan to ensure full understanding of the types of services and resources available to them, and their duties and responsibilities.
  • Provide information concerning the necessary skills and sources needed for study via distance education.
  • Prepare statistical reports on students' communications, and categorize them according to topics and situations, and reveal the ratio and degree of recurrence.
  • Continuous communication with students involved in distance education.
  • Provide the necessary technical support for students with regard to the educational systems through different means of communication.
  • Include students' queries and questions in the data base to serve as a reference for the Deanship.
  • Propose software programs, methods and techniques that support the function of the unit.
  • The application of developments in the field of technical support.
  • Carry out any instructions issued by the Department Head related to the unit's activities.
