Strategic Planning Unit
Development Agency Deanship of e-learning and distance education-Department of Quality and Development
This unit aims to prepare and follow up the implementation and the evaluation of Agency’s strategic plans to ensure the improvement of the educational process in line with the university’s plans.
Unit’s tasks:
- Prepare, develop, update and follow up the implementation of the entity’s strategic plans in line with the university’s plans.
- Periodic follow-up of performance indicators and prepare reports on the completion rates.
- Contribute to the preparation of annual operational plans under the strategic plan develop a risk management system, develop alternative plans related to the entity’s strategic initiatives and plans, and follow up their implementation and linking them with other work systems.
- Review the best practices and continue to be up-to-date in the field in order to improve and update the strategic plan.
- Introduce the objectives and elements of the strategic plan using different methods.
- Disseminate strategic planning culture among departments and units.
- Verify the implementation efficiency to achieve indicators required by the entity.
- Cooperate with all of the administrative units in order to achieve the mission and the vision.
- Participate in preparing the annual budget for the entity that is responsible for funding annual plans projects along with the relevant authorities.
- Report unit’s activities and achievements along with obstacles and ways to overcome them.
