summer training program, the 10 of Shawwal 1439 AH

KAU, received the 40 female students from the faculty of computer and information technology, who were enrolled in the summer training program offered by the Deanship. The training runs through 6 weeks during which several educational activities will be conducted to address the needs of the trainees and develop their professional abilities and skills With the ultimate objective of aligning the program learning outcomes with the needs of and requirements of the labor market. The presentation of the tasks and the division of female students enrolled in the program is arranged to be in teams format wherein tasks and methods of delivery will be defined under the supervision of their technical & departmental supervisors. The summer training program of 2018 will focus the following parameters of evaluation:
  • Application and system ideas: Mobile apps.
  • of technical development work: administrative, educational, and educational applications
  • Attendance of students from 8 am to 2 pm in addition to hours online through virtual sessions
  • Acquired skills: 60% software applications and research documentation, 20% technical support, 20% open learning resources and platform interface testing.
