About E-Learning Unit:

E-learning Unit at the E-learning Programs Department is working hard to spread out e-learning culture among faculty members in regular programs. One of e-learning types is Supportive where students and faculty need full attendance at the campus, and they use e-learning tools in order to support and facilitate the learning process. (this is adopted in the regular programs in our University).

Terms of the e-Course:

Learning management system courses must meet the following requirements:

  • Course Description: that shows the goals, Topics, activities information, tests and grades distribution (note: must clarify the e-activities on the LMS and their grades).
  • Discussion Forum to help the instructor to keep in touch with the students and their inquiries.
  • Instructor Information: office hours, contacts and all the communication channels.
  • Teacher Assistant (in case there is one): clarify the TA role and his or her responsibilities towards the students.
  • Employ one-interaction or communication tools (synchronous or asynchronous) in the educational process.

Services Provided to Faculty:


  • Provide counseling for faculty in regular giving programs.
  • Providing Technical Support for Technology Use and Maintenance in regular giving programs.
  • Developing comprehensive training programs.
  • Communicate with e-learning coordinators.
