Development of Regional Examination System
| Project Overview |
This project aims to facilitate the organization of regional examinations and its automation, as well as facilitating communication between faculty members in these regions and the Deanship of e-Learning and Distance Education located in Jeddah by continues monitoring of the committees’ activities that are being sent and the exchange of letters through the system during the exam period.

| Motives for Developing the System |
- Difficulty managing, archiving and retrieval of information from large numbers of documents and paper files, which are increasing on a daily basis.
- Large consumption of office space for the storage of paper files.
- Consumption of time and effort to create, or to search for these documents or to distribute them to the desired destinations.
- Difficulty in modifying the data.
- Difficulty in direct communication between the members of the Committee and the Deanship of e-learning and Distance Education.
- Inability to receive daily reports on a daily basis making them worthless.
- Difficulty in writing and signing the minutes.

| The goal of the project |
- Implement the strategy of King Abdul Aziz University to become a paperless university.
- Automate documentation of test delivery and receipt processes.
- Automate forms used to manage regional exams.
- Track task accomplishments of committee members.
- Automate Performance evaluation of committee members.
- Automatic archiving of data in the system so that it can be accessed and retrieved at any time.
